Do Good. Be Kind.

For those of you that do not know, I am an elementary school librarian. When I saw the new Decor Element that said “Do Good. Be Kind” it really resonated with me. Of all of things we teach children, this is the most important. If they can learn these two items, then our job is well done. It is a theme that runs through most of the stories I read to them, and also what I hope they see in my daily interactions as well.
Directly opposite the door to my office is a wall that is a lovely shade of blue. It was calling out for something, and I think I found it!
Do Good. Be Kind. If only we could all follow this simple advice every day.

love it
Very nice! This should be posted in all schools! Our county does a program called “Character Counts”. This sums it up nicely.
That looks like the desk of someone who likes books
Love that you put it up at your school – it is a great character reminder for the children!!
Yapha, that is beautiful. My daughter is a high school teacher. I’ll bet she would like that in her class, as well.
Yapha, your office wall looks wonderful! What a great message for your school children to see each time they come to see you. I’ve had a decor element for quite some time and I keep forgetting to put it on my wall in my kitchen. I may just have to go and dust it off and get it up. TFS
