Rubber Stamping & Card Making with Yapha

I am so fortunate to be working with a wonderful woman in the library this year! She is amazing, and really went above and beyond to make the library a festive place for Halloween. The students loved it all month, and yesterday was a fantastic Halloween celebration. I used My Digital Studio to whip a quick scrapbook page commemorating how great it was. If you look closely at the top right hand corner of the picture, you can see some of the 100 witches’ hats that were hanging from the ceiling.

I’m going to print this out and give it to her on Monday. Have I mentioned how much I’m loving My Digital Studio? Don’t worry, I’ll keep telling you!

You know what I love about My Digital Studio? Well, I’ll tell you… I love that not only can I make amazing scrapbook pages, not only can I make fabulous cards, but I can make a huge assortment of other digital items as well. Case in point, I made a super cute flyer for my Halloween buddy at work!

I told you last week how we are doing buddies at work, leaving fun little treats for each other. Well, I knew I couldn’t stamp anything for her (or she would know it was me), but I sure could print something on the computer! So I put this together in about 10 minutes, printed it out, and left it on her desk with one of those little pumpkins. So cute and easy!

I love My Digital Studio! I’ll have more great projects to show you soon!

I love the look of a clean and simple card. When I saw this week’s sketch challenge over on Stampin’ Addicts, I knew I had to try it.

(Did you notice how great the sketch looks? It was made using My Digital Studio!)

I really liked the look of the three squares, and thought the three of the pieces from Season of Friendship would work great there. I wanted to use Kraft as the base, but alas, I had none, so I went with Creamy Caramel instead.

I really liked this weekend’s sketch challenge over at Stamping 411. I was *this close* to creating a scrapbook page for it, but decided to make a card instead, using the super fun color’s of Friday’s Color Challenge over at Stampin’ Addicts.

The Stampin’ Addict challenge colors were Certainly Celery, Rich Razzleberry, and Dusty Durango. They are great for a non-traditional Halloween or Fall card. I chose to go with a fall card. I used a Texturz plate on the Certainly Celery piece to mimic the look of the vine. It’s hard to see in the picture, but it looks very elegant in real life.

My friend Andrea asked if I could help come up with some baby announcements for Jack. He was born in June, and she figured she better get the birth announcements out before the holiday cards. “Of course,” I answered, thinking what a great chance that would be for me to play around with the card making features of My Digital Studio. It was so easy and fun to do, I made two! These are both 5″x7″ cards.

If you chose to print them through Stampin’ Up, you can also add more pictures and text for the inside, which is where I would put all of the birth announcements details, and maybe even a picture of the whole family. Which one would you pick?

Eve was invited to a birthday party last weekend, for two of the girls in her class. I figured that was as good as time as any to break out the Pony Party stamp set! Pink, Purple, and Ponies — really, what could be bad? Here’s what I came up with:

We’re doing Halloween Buddies at school — each teacher has a secret buddy that they give treats to for a week and a half before Halloween. It is so much fun! The bummer though, is that I can’t give anything stamped, because then my buddy would know that it was me! Arggh! Talk about frustrating! I f I could though, I would definitely give her this adorable Halloween matchbox.

It was Sarah‘s fabulous idea to put the little pumpkin faces on the Hershey’s nuggets. How cute are they?

I really liked the color’s for last week’s Stampin’ Addicts Color Challenge. The colors were So Saffron, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, and Not Quite Navy. I wanted to make a fall card, but everything I thought of needed some shade of brown.Then I remembered that there was Old Olive in the Cast-a-Spell Designer Series Paper, so I decided to make a Halloween Card instead! This is what I came up with:
