Now that Mother’s Day is over, I’m switching modes and gearing up for Father’s Day with some masculine cards. Today’s Mojo Monday sketch lends it self perfectly to this.

I left the scalloped edge off the bottom to make it a little more masculine. I also thought about putting glitter on the beer foam, but wasn’t sure if that would take away from the manliness of the card, so I left it off. This would be great for a birthday or Father’s Day.

Thank you so much to all of you went on the Parade of Papers blog hop this past weekend! I know I had a fabulous time looking at all of the amazing projects and ideas, I hope you did too!

As promised, I have tutorials for two of my projects to share with you. The first one is for the mini fold out scrapbook.

I found this wonderful tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers, in their resources section. I made a couple of modifications, though. The only coasters that I had were 3.5″ so I made my first piece of card stock and designer series paper were 9″ by 3.5″ instead of 4″ x 10″. I followed the rest of the instructions that they had.

The second project I promised a tutorial for is this super cute stationary bag.

I found this tutorial on Kimberley Morris’s blog. I made a few modifications to this as well, since I was using the textured cardstock to make it, not one 8.5″ x 11″. My front and back pieces were still 8.5″ x 4.5″ but the two side pieces I changed to 2.5′” x 4.5″ and scored them at 0.5″ from each of the three sides. I just wanted a little more room to work with. The piece of designer series paper on the front measures 6.75″ x 3.75″. I love these little totes and will definately be making packs of cards in them for all of Eve’s end of the year teacher gifts!
