Get Well Soon

I think masculine cards are the hardest to make. Not funny ones, not lovey ones, but real masculine cards. So when my co-librarian asked me to make a get well card for his grandfather, I knew it was going to be rough. There is one set, though, that is always a good one to turn to for manly cards — Lovely as a Tree. You just can’t go wrong with Lovely as a Tree! I based my design off of this card, but I used the new Stampin’ Up Texturz plate harlequin design for the background. The sentiment is from the Chit-Chat rub ons. If you haven’t tried Stampin’ Up’s rub-ons, you really need to. They are head and shoulders above the rest! And the Chit Chat pack is amazing! There are 92 different sentiments, in both Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. That’s 184 sentiments for only $10.95! That’s less than 6 cents a piece! Crazy!
