Wicked Card Challenges

Here in New England, things are “Wicked” — “Wicked Cool,” “Wicked Awesome,” “Wicked Fast,” etc. On SplitCoast there is also a monthly Wicked Demonstrator’s Challenge. It contains a color challenge, a sketch challenge, and a technique challenge. Below are the cards I made for the December Wicked challenge. They both use the colors in the color challenge — Always Artichoke, Basic Black, Bordering Blue, and Tangerine Tango. The first card is for the sketch challenge:
| Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Fresh Cuts |
| Paper: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Basic Black, Bordering Blue, Hostess Level 1 Prints Pack |
| Ink: Always Artichoke, Tangerine Tango, Bordering Blue |
| Accessories: Coluzzle, 1 1/4″ circle punch, 1 3/8″ circle punch, scallop circle punch, Tangerine Tango Striped Grosgrain |
The second card is for the technique challenge — this month the technique is color-blocking. I kinda cheated on the color-blocking. The two Whisper White pieces are matted on black and layered on top of the Artichoke and Blue. I still think it looks good though!
| Stamps: One of a Kind | |
| Paper: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Basic Black, Bordering Blue, Always Artichoke | |
